Welcome to TalkPlay Junction!
Hi, I'm Alicia! I've have been practicing in the Des Moines Area since 2014 after receiving my MA in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Northern Iowa. Doing so has allowed me to gain a variety of firsthand experiences and settings including outpatient, home health, and the schools. I love integrating literacy into my practice. I believe in the power of play-based, strengths-based, and neurodivergent affirming therapy. I believe in the power of connection and relationships-how they can foster success. I am excited to have created a space that is accepting and inclusive for all.
I want your child to be heard, feel a bond, and want to come to speech. I can't wait to see how I can help your child grow in their communication skills.
